“Bold Pink lips it is” my mind says to be sometimes when I’m feeling blue to go to office and trying to cheer myself up 😀 I get ready as per my mood and when my mood says let’s beat the blues with bold pink lips so be it 🙂 Today you’ll see how I generally wear bold pink lips to office. Presenting Day 6 look of “9 days of office Makeup Looks” series…

My everyday base makeup consists of moisturiser-compact or BB cream-compact and sometimes blush. My eye makeup generally consists of coloured liner with or without wash of eyeshadow on my lids, with or without mascara. And lipstick colour varies according to rest of my makeup and outfit.

Here I’m wearing BB cream, compact and blush as base. smudged Matte Grey coloured eyeliner on waterline and lashline with single coat mascara. Since the lips are bold pink, I have kept the eyes minimal and muted which makes this wearable office makeup look.

Eyes:

Today’s Office makeup look is again one of those looks which anyone can wear. I have soft corner for matte lips but i wear creamy lipsticks as well and glittery one’s attract me more than plain creamy ones. hehehe my blabbering never gets over. So coming to today’s post which is Day 5 of “9 Days of Office Makeup Looks” series, let’s see the look I’ve created:

This can be go to look for many of you, BB cream-compact base, Black kohled eyes, prepped eyes with slight winged liner and lipstick and warm cheeks. I used light peach highlighting shade all over lids to kind of open up and brighten up the eyes, (you can skip this if you want) then used maybelline gel liner on both waterline and lashline. No mascara. I’m not big on mascara for everyday makeup.

Moisturiser, Inveda BB cream, Lakme Radiance Complexion Compact Pearl, Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Spicy Cinnamon(Just a light swirl for the warmth).

Eyes:

Light Peach highlighting shade from MUA 12 Shade Glamour Night Palette(shown here) all over lids, Matt Black shadow from same palette to fill brows, Mayebelline Gel Liner black(on waterline and lashline both). No mascara.

Lips:

Oriflame You Dazzale Lipstick Red Blossom.

Mostly I wear eyeliner and lipstick for everyday office makeup looks and generally skip eyeshadows most of the time and I do not shy from bright colours as well even for office makeup look. But today I’m going to share a office makeup look which can be worn by anyone including people who shy from bright colours. I experiment with eyeliner a lot even in office as i do not like monotonous makeup routine. So here is Day 4 look of “9 Days of Office Makeup Looks” series:

I have gone for grey eye pencil for waterline and sparkly black eyepencil on upper lashline, Soft coral flushed cheeks and peach lipstick. I skipped eyeshadows and mascara for this look.

I’m someone who gets bored with monotonous routines. You won’t find me wearing black kohl/liner 7 days a week, I can’t. I love coloured liners a lot and I wear them to office as well. Here is the Day 3 look of “9 Days of Office Makeup Looks” series:

Colored liners paired with contrast lips and you are done 🙂

MUA 12 Shade Glamour Night Eyeshadow Palette is my goto eyeshadow palette for everyday and I have realised that I have not reviewed it yet 😐 Review coming right after i finish this series.

On my eyelids there are lightest peach highlighting shade as base all over lid area including brow bone and then reddish pink shade as wash of color on lid area upto the crease(Blend well) I do not use eyeshadow brush for everyday makeup, I use my fingers :p For lips I went for light pink shade with micro shimmers in it.

I have discovered my love for lipstick very late infact post my marriage, before that it was mostly tinted lipbalms and lipglosses. But ever since I started blogging and discovered fellow bloggers and some of them introduced me to good lipsticks there is no looking back and the result is this 😀 hehehe So much drama!!! ok so let’s move on to 9 Days of Office Makeup Looks Day 2 :

I love pinks and corals and yes I do wear them even in winters. Like I told you before also, I do not follow rules when it comes to makeup and fashion. I wear what I like, so if you would spot me wearing wine/oxblood lips in summers, do not get surprised. Enjoy the pictures.

This time my skin was in really good condition thanks to Just Herbs Serum so i used to skip bb/cc cream most of the time. I am wearing moisturizer, compact and blush as base makeup. On eyes there is matte taupe eyeshadow as base all over lids (darker near lashline) and silver shadow as wash till crease.

9 Days of Office Makeup Looks : Day 1

You must be thinking while everyone has been doing festive makeup looks, why is this girl doing office makeup looks!!! Well this has been a long pending series and since Navratri is starting from today, I thought why not do this now. So here is the deal, everyday I’ll be sharing office makeup looks for 9 days. These are not exclusively done looks, these are randomly clicked looks before heading to office, so yes this is how I get ready for office 🙂

I am going to share pictures of my Office Makeup looks and I’ll try my best to share the product used as well. All these looks can be achieved within 10 minutes. So here is the Office Makeup Look #1:

Oh !!! No I’m not a believer of the fact that one should wear only nudes/soft muted lipcolors to office. I wear bold lips as well as muted lips to office and same goes for eyes as well. I do not stick to rules and I wear makeup as per my mood 🙂

Here I’m wearing moisturiser, compact, blush(Just flushed cheeks) as base makeup. For eyes I have used 2 eye pencils and for lips I have used lip pencil(Allover lips). I have not used any BB/CC Cream or foundation and mascara for this look.

Facewash is one skincare item which I experiment a lot with mainly because. I keep trying new facewashes and finish using them ofcourse unless they irritate my skin and yes there are a few which i repurchase 🙂 so today I am going to Review Oriflame Pure Nature Strawberry Fruit Extract Facewash.

My Experience with Oriflame Pure Nature Strawberry Fruit Extract Facewash:

Oriflame Pure Nature Strawberry Fruit Extract Facewash comes is a transparent tube with screw cap. The facewash is strawberry coloured gel with medium to runny consistency. The face wash smells of fresh strawberries, not artificial or medicinal.

Oriflame Pure Nature Strawberry Fruit Extract Facewash lather beautifully and gets washed off completely without any slippery feeling. It gives squeaky clean skin without drying it out. I use oil to remove my makeup and once I have not wiped the oil with wet wipe and directly washed my face with this facewash, it cleaned all grim and oil excellently but for squeaky clean feel I needed to go twice. It has not irritated my sensitive skin and also reduced the acne which are caused by dust and grim.

Final Verdict: 4/5

Oriflame Pure Nature Strawberry Fruit Extract Facewash serves the purpose of good facewash for oily and combination skin. It gives squeaky clean feel without drying out skin. It contains SLS and paraben but still did not irritate my sensitive skin.
