Zimmber : Is it solution to all your Household Problems?

Do you face a lot of household problems in day to day life like You do not know any lumbing or electrical guy? AC not working or microwave broke down? your sofa is really dirty and it is bothering you but you can’t wash it? your car needs a thorough cleaning and you are not getting time to get it done? you have called pest control guy 100 times but still he is not showing up? you are tired with all the chores and want to get pampered but tired enough that you don’t want to go to salon? Well here I’m about to tell you about an app which may come handy in any such scenario : Zimmer. Is Zimmber app solution to all your household problems? Read on to know my experience.

How to download Zimmber App:

It is available for both Android and iPhones at respective app store.

My Experience with Zimmber:

I have installed Zimmber from google Play store and first thing it asks is to register your mobile number and then it takes you to app’s interface. You have to select your location and based on that you can browse through different services.

When you open Zimmber app you see main menu which has almost many services listed like Car Spa, Driver on Demand, Plumbing Service, AC Repair, Salon At Home, Electrical Service, Home Spa, Pest Control Service, PC & Laptop repair, Refrigerator repair, Washing machine repair, geyser repair, colour you home, microwave repair, home makeover, Sofa Spa, Carpentry Service, Carpet Spa etc. Yes these many services are listed right now on app. A specialised professional will be provided for different service. There are different offers on booking of different services.

I have decided to explore Salon at Home, well obviously I want to get pampered and If i can get it at comfort of my home then there can not be anything better than this. Here is how salon at home main menu looks like:

I have decided to go for combo services as they are more reasonable and you get many services at discounted combo price. When I clicked on combos section I could see many combo options available and the listing changes time to time. One thing which bothered me was that I was not able to see list of all the services which were part of combo and I had to go to their website to check that (Really why use app then). But since the app is still in developing stage I have given my feedback to their team.

I have booked a combo service at available timeslot. I noticed that all timeslots were of 1 hr duration and I was confused that how is it possible for all the services to get over within an hour. Anyways I have received a confirmation message post booking.

My booked slot was 4-5PM and by 4 pm no one from Zimmber called me up to comfirm associate assigned or to get directions to my home. I had to give them a call post which they have assigned an associate to me who reached at my home by 5PM.

Associate assigned to me was nice and friendly. She explained me how she is going to proceed and asked for my suggestions as well. When enquired she told me that the time slot is for the associates reaching time. That they need to reach with that timeslot. She proceeded with the services and asked me in between if I want to upgrade any service with additional cost. They keep 4-5 product options which are listed in individual categories as well, like for facial they keep lotus, o3+, riga etc so if your combo has lotus facial but you want to go for o3+ then by paying some additional charges you can avail that.

Overall I have had good experience with Zimmber. I have liked the services and the option to upgrade the services if you do not like the products they are using. I feel that the app need more refinement on development front like listing of all services clearly and booking timeslots otherwise on service front i liked it. They call to take customer feedback and note all the points which are suggested for improvement.

I would like to try other household services as well. I suggest you all to give Zimmber a try if it is servicing in your city and this might help you with your household problems 🙂

Recently I have hit the pan of a product and have realised that I have still not reviewed it here. So let’s talk about the product Makeup Academy Pro Base Prime & Conceal – Yellow aka MUA Pro Base Prime & Conceal, yes the one I have shown you in my MUA haul here.

My Experience with Makeup Academy Pro Base prime & Conceal:

A little heads-up…I love this product, but I guess you got to know that already when I have said I’ve hot the pan 😀 Makeup Academy Pro Base prime & Conceal comes in a simple black pan with transparent lid on top so you can see the product from outside. This is claimed to be colour correcting cream by MUA so this kind of packaging helps you pick right colour. I feel the packaging is a bit clumsy and might break if you are prone to drop products like me 😉 Mine broke within a month 😀 Otherwise travel-friendly lightweight packaging.

Makeup Academy Pro Base prime & Conceal has buttery smooth texture. It has yellow tones which helps concealing all the redness on face and minor blemishes and that is what I love about it. It spreads easily due to creamy texture and gives light to medium coverage due to the same. It feel extremely light weight on skin. It has a tendency to cling on to dry patches so I suggest to moisturise well before applying this. It easily brightens up the under eye area and covers light blemishes and redness on acne but it can not completely cover acne, heavy dark circles and dark blemishes/acne spots.

I use Makeup Academy Pro Base Prime & Conceal over my foundation to cover spots and redness under my eye area and face, and it actually brighten up my eyes and make me look more awake :D(If that is making any sense. It does not look or feel cakey even on layering. I do not have dark circles so majorly I use it to highlight my face, you know the ususal spots forehead, arch of the brow, bridge of the nose, under the eyes, cupids bow and top of the chin 🙂 and it perfectly give that natural highlighted look. I sometimes use it allover my face and set it with power and this instantly brightens up my face and gives a gorgeous glow. I use it as a base to prime and conceal my eyes before eyemakeup and it holds on to shadows pretty well 🙂 Overall Makeup Academy Pro Base prime & Conceal is a versatile product which I absolutely love.

Makeup Academy Pro Base prime & Conceal is a very versatile product which can be used to prime and conceal as well as colour correcting. Yellow colour serves as perfect natural highlighter as well. It combats the redness on the face and brighten up the eyes and face. It stays put for about 5 hours after that you feel the need to touch up with compact. It is worth every penny. Only con I find is the availability in India as Indian e-com sites sell it at almost double of its actual price. 

Repurchase: YES.
Recommended: Do I still need to say YES after all this blabbering 😛

My Review about Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil:

Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil comes in a white opaque bottle with golden and black print on it. travel friendly and sturdy packaging.

Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil is very light weight ice blue coloured oil with water like consistency. It has string scent of rosemary which can be bothersome for few people.

I have massaged it on scalp liberally and left it overnight, next morning after hair wash I’ve noticed the irritated scalp was calmed a bit and dandruff was less visible. I have decided to give it another try and this time i have applied it on scalp as well as length of hair, next day after wash i felt my hair were feeling smooth and dry ends were feeling quite saturated and smooth. I have used it 4-5 times and i could see it working on dandruff and tackling dryness of scalp and hair. It gives very mild cooling sensation as well.

Impression: 4/5

Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil was able to calm down irritated scalp and had shown promising effect on dandruff as well. In 4-5 usage I felt it was working on dry ends as well and my hair felt a bit nourished. It has goodness of Amla(Gooseberry), Neem, Rosemary and Til(Sesame) oil.

Recommended: Yes.
Repurchase: Yes I’m planning to get full sized bottle.

I’m just back from office and feeling damn tired. But as I have decided earlier in the day that I will write a post today, so here I am with review of Elois Hair Removal Cream. I do not have major body hair growth so I ususally go for waxing once every 2 months. But underarms growth can’t be ignored when you have to go for a party 🙂 So in those rare scenarios I use epilator or hair removing creams depending on my mood 😀 Read on to know whether Elois Hair Removal Cream qualifies to stay in my vanity 🙂

My Experience with Elois Hair Removal Cream:

Elois Hair Removal Cream comes in a tube packaging which is housed inside a carton box. A spatula is also included in the pacakging and all the necessary information is provided on the outer packaging.

Elois Hair Removal Cream has light cream like consistency and easy to spread formula. Spatula is quite nice and easy to hold, it makes the spreading job easy. I started with sensitive skin version first as i have sensitive skin. I used as advised and it removed hard hair but still I could see few arrogant ones were still left.

Next time I have used normal skin version and it removed all hair including those arrogant ones in single go. My skin felt soft afterwards and I did not feel the need to run for moisturiser.

Overall I’m impressed with the performance. Only thing intolerable is pungent smell, but cummon whom am I kidding! all hair removal creams has it.

Final Verdict: 4/5

Elois Hair Removal Cream is easy on pocket hair removal cream which does the job very well. However if you have hard hair growth I would suggest not to go for sensitive skin version. It did not irritate my sensitive skin at all and I have not faced any side effects. Overall it is decent hair cream for the price. One size packaging and pungent smell are the only flaws I find 🙂

O3+ Whitening Day Cream SPF 15 Review

One thing which I’m hating these days is abundance of whitening products. Everyone is after our life to make us fair and white 😀 I do not support whitening products but they are sometimes effective at removing tan. I have received O3+ Whitening Day Cream SPF 15 samples in my envy box January 2015. I have finished the samples and here I am to share my views on it.

My review on O3+ Whitening Day Cream SPF 15:

O3+ Whitening Day Cream samples come in a pearly white tube with black cap on it but full size product comes in a white jar with silver lid on it. I love tube packaging as they are hygienic and travel-friendly.

O3+ Whitening Day Cream looks like pearly white whipped cream but when you apply and spread it on skin, it feel oily and leaves visible shine on face which doesn’t go away. It starts to make my combination face super oily within 2 hrs. In a little hot weather it even broke me out. You can feel the cream on your face and if you wear makeup over it, it will make your face oily even sooner.

Oh did I tell you when I apply this cream my face looks like shiny red ball. Here is the proof(and the expressions and feelings are real):

Final Verdict: 1/5

I have used O3+ Whitening Day Cream for 1 month as i have received 1 more sample in my fabbag as well. Based on that I would say, I hate it. Even in colder weather it made my face look like shiney ball 😀 OILY/COMBINATION SKINNED LADIES PLEASE STAY AWAY from this. I can not comment on how it would perform on dry skin. Blending it is a tough task and SPF15 is of no use. Overall except the smell and packaging I do not like anything about this.

Repurchase: Won’t even think about it.
Recommended: Strictly No for oily/combination skin. Can’t comment on dry skin.

My Review on Oriflame Veryme Extendalash Mascara:

First thing which made me buy this mascara was the claim of being 3-in-1, claiming to give length, curl and definition to the lashes. Closeup picture of wand in oriflame catalogue showed that each bristle is devided into 4 mini bristles at the ends which looked promising enough to support the claim, so I bought it.

Oriflame Veryme Extendalash Mascara comes in a black tube with magenta coloured cap. The tube looks simple yet pretty.

Coming to the formula of Oriflame Veryme Extendalash Mascara, it is a liquid mascara not a cream based so the formula feels very light even after applying 3 coats.

Oriflame Veryme Extendalash Mascara does not clump the lashes rather it separates the lashes giving them more definition, it also imparts lengthening effect and holds the curl pretty well, so overall it fulfils 3-in-1 claim. It does not however give any volume to lashes neither it claims to do so.

It is not waterproof and does not claim to be but it is definitely water-resistant and won’t give you panda eyes if you splash water on your face (Do not rub it wet though). Due to this property it is my everyday wear mascara. I love it, it is fuss-free and coats lashes beautifully without much effort.

Here is the EOTD (I have not curled my lashes).

Final Verdict: 4.75/5

Oriflame Veryme Extendalash Mascara is good everyday mascara if you want to give your lashes 3-in-1 effect of lengthening, defining and curl holding. This fits perfectly in budget and available on discount at oriflame official catalogues most of the time so you can buy it from oriflame representative. Thogh finding it online is a bit tough job and only drawback I see. Also if you rub your eyes wet it can smudge around your eyes. But the special brush this one has overcomes the drawbacks and the mascara fulfils the claims. I love it and this has a permanent place in my vanity 🙂

Recommended: Yes.

OOTD : Shirt Dress

How are you? We went for movie Angry Birds few days back well I did not quite like the movie, it was okayish. They have made 2 hr movie out of barely 2 min introduction you get before playing Angry Birds game 😀 Animated movies can be better than this specially in 3D. Coming to today’s OOTD, I love summer casuals a lot. Dresses and shorts are so comfy in this scorching heat. For this movie & shopping date I have donned a navy blue Shirt Dress with red heart prints all over. Let’s take a look…

The Shirt dress is super comfy and the fabric is very breathable. The dress did not come with the belt, I just wanted to give red touch so I have added red belt 🙂

Since it was a movie and shopping date, shoes had to be comfortable otherwise you can not go to check out so many shops in the mall. i have chosen my printed loafers with red laces 🙂 They looked really cute with the dress 🙂

For accessories, I kept it simple by adding just a pair of flower shaped polka studs, watch and a red sling bag.

I have come across this gorgeous background at Splash outlet and couldn’t resist but pose in front of it 😛

My Experience with Kronokare Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm:

First thing which I love about Kronokare Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm is packaging. It comes in a white and ice blue shade with ice flakes prints in it. The packaging give cooling vibes itself.

Kronokare Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm is clear lipbalm which has a non-waxy super-light texture. It does not feel heavy on lips even if layered. Due to light texture and colourless property it can be wore underneath drying lipsticks. It gives cooling minty sensation when you apply it on lips which i absolutely love. The cooling sensation stays for about half an hour then it starts to fade. It heals chapped lips and moisturise them. When I apply this in night, I wake up with soft plump lips recovered from damage. It is free from silicons and parabens which is a big bonus for me.

Final Verdict: 5/5

I absolutely love Kronokare Frizz Kiss Cooling Explosion Lip Balm. I like how light it is and it helps in healing chapped lips. It can be reapplied several time and even if you apply it heavily it does not feel heavy on lips. It makes a good overnight treatment for lips. I love the minty cool sensation it gives to my lips be it winters or summers. It is silicon and paraben free and comes with pretty reasonable price tag.

My Experience with Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat Sunscreen SPF 30:

Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat Sunscreen SPF 30 comes in a white plastic tube and unlike samples the full size product has orange flip open cap. The packaging has typical Bioderma font. It is travel friendly.

Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat Sunscreen SPF 30 is white fluid which spreads easily on skin and looks shiney and little white on skin as soon as applied but after about 1-2 mins it gets absorbed fully into skin leaving no white cast and sets into mat finish.

I use it on it’s own as well as by mixing it with my moisturiser, either way it does not make my combination skin oily for good 5-6 hours. It acts as a primer as well and makeup glides well on top of it. It is water resistant so if you sweat a lot this is perfect choice for you.

It does not break me out so it is perfect for sensitive skin as well also it provided good sun protection in winters. Right now I’m using SPF 50 version and will update you on that soon.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5

Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat Sunscreen SPF 30 is one of the very few sunscreens which suited my sensitive skin without breaking it out or stinging. It mattifies skin so oily/combination skinnned people must try it. The only thing which is bothersome to me is presence of perfume/scent in ingredients as it can be irriating to sensitive skin sometimes but thankfully it did not irritate my skin. I wish it did not come with a hefty price tag though it will last you a long time if you use it only for face 🙂

Recommended: Yes for oily/combination skin. Dry skin might find it a bit over matte 🙂
Repurchase: Probably yes if spotted on discount.
